Senior Full Stack Engineer – Remote

We’re Insites & we’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer for our platform. You’ll be joining an established development team, but working on exciting new projects and be integral to our growth mission

You’ll be:

  • UK-based (Sorry, we’re not hiring outside of the UK at the moment!)
  • Self-motivated and keen to get stuck in
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Looking for somewhere to make a difference; we’re looking for a team member who is looking for their next challenge, not just somewhere to clock in and out
  • An experienced developer with experience in commercial programming, PHP, Javascript, and a strong knowledge of HTML / CSS
  • Comfortable working from home – we’re remote first, but our team meets up quarterly to catch up and enjoy a few beers

Our platform produces an audit of any website in just 60 seconds. Each audit offers a comprehensive, accurate and quick overview of any small business’s online presence. And within each audit report, users can find trackable scores and jargon-free feedback about how healthy (or unhealthy) their online presence is.

Experience

What we’re looking for

We’re looking to speak to folks who meet the following criteria:

  • 5+ years of commercial programming experience
  • Proven ability to build enterprise-level applications in PHP and Javascript
  • Familiar with at least one modern JavaScript framework (Vue, React, Angular)
  • Strong knowledge of HTML / CSS

However, experience with any of the following would be a bonus:

  • Puppeteer / Playwright browser automation
  • Web scraping
  • GPT-3, Dall-E 2 or similar AI-based APIs
  • Server admin / Linux
  • Docker
  • CI platforms & best practices (we use Github Actions)
  • AWS / Dev ops
  • SEO & digital marketing
